We are C3.
Flood resilience for the real world.
Flooding can happen anywhere, anytime.
It’s increasingly common and unexpectedly expensive — and it can be financially and emotionally devastating. Flood insurance helps survivors get back on their feet. But too few households and businesses are covered. The C3 team works with FEMA to change that.
After Hurricane Matthew, flood insurance helped John & Michelle Tipton rebuild their house and mitigate against future flooding.
We’ve had flood insurance ever since we moved here and we never, ever dreamed that we would ever use it. If it wasn’t for this flood insurance, we would be in dire straits.
HWC leads the multidisciplinary C3 team supporting FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program. Together, we’re building flood resilience for the real world. #WeAreC3
Faces of C3
What do you enjoy most about working with the C3 team?
Our team is passionate and committed. We go above and beyond to help our clients. They work hard and every day we try to be helpful supporters of the work; even more, we try to be strategic thought partners who can test, scope, and implement ideas that actually meet goals. Our teams embrace change and never forget to have fun.
How do you see yourself professionally?
I'm a connector and a success enabler. I like to make sure teams have what they need to not just do the work well, but to access the potential in every opportunity and challenge. I want people to say that I bring organization, authenticity, and polish to everything I do.
Three words about C3:
Fun. Creative. Exploratory.

Flood After Fire
Floods and mudslides frequently sweep into neighborhoods and communities on the heels of a wildfire. The consequences can be worse than the fire itself.
